“From September 26 to October 8, 2022, exercises with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO “Interaction-2022”, “Poisk-2022”, “Echelon-2022” will be held in the Zhambyl and Almaty regions.
In this regard, from September 22 to 30, military contingents of the CSTO member states are arriving in our country, ”the republic’s Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The contingents will move by rail, air transport and wheeled military equipment.
During the movement of military contingents, it is planned to work out the issues of commandant service, air defense and comprehensive support.
In August, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced joint exercises with Kazakhstan within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
The CSTO includes six states - Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
