Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Erdogan that 25% of Russian gas supplies to Turkey would be paid for in rubles.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak noted that Russia would increase gas supplies to Turkey if necessary.

According to him, Russia and Turkey have a number of long-term gas contracts on the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream.
