The narcotics squad did not have to look far to identify the recipient of the drug shipment: his name and address were on the package.
This package, containing six kilos of herbal cannabis, was coming straight from the United States when it was intercepted on August 24 by customs at a logistics platform in Paris.
And it was this Wednesday morning that the investigators landed in the apartment of the one who had placed this distant order, a 33-year-old man, living in an apartment in the Cité Amouroux in Toulouse and already well known to the police services.
The search quickly revealed that this large shipment was not intended for personal consumption.
Beyond the 165 grams of cocaine and 250 grams of cannabis, there was also packaging material for resale.
The suspect was referred to the prosecution on Thursday morning for a judgment in immediate appearance before the criminal court.
