“I think it’s right if, as a measure to support citizens mobilized for military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the state assumes their obligations for monthly payments of mortgage and car loans,” he said.

According to the initiative, Koshelev noted, the measure should apply to the entire period of service of those mobilized into the Russian army.

Earlier, the Central Bank recommended that Russian banks and microfinance organizations provide credit holidays to mobilized citizens.
