 The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in Dubai South has announced the completion and handover of the supplier complex to be the first vertical facility in the region for the maintenance and storage of aircraft parts.

The new complex aims to attract small and medium-sized companies and emerging companies, and enable them to attract international companies specialized in maintenance and spare parts trading, as well as drone companies, and others operating in the aviation field. 

The airlines operating in the new complex will benefit from the incubator in the project, to help them grow and expand, especially emerging companies, as the facility will provide logistical services that will allow companies to obtain customized services according to their specific requests.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project will also provide incentives to interested companies to support them in meeting their needs.

On this occasion, Tahnoun Seif, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, said: "We are proceeding from a specific mission of supporting various government initiatives to attract foreign direct investments to the country, as part of its efforts aimed at diversifying its economy, and the new facility will provide airlines with a smooth launch in the market. As it can take advantage of the integrated system in the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, to provide unique services that meet the needs of the aviation industry in Dubai."

The inauguration ceremony of the new facility was held in association with Stratasys, a leading provider of innovative 3D printing solutions to the aerospace and automotive industries.

The supplier complex is located in the aircraft parts supply and repair area in the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, which consists of a ground floor and three floors, and will be oriented for light industrial purposes, providing plug and play solutions, to enable airlines to carry out their activities easily.

The complex provides 86 units available for leasing, enhanced with three storage levels, for companies that carry out maintenance work, supply aircraft spare parts, drone companies, and others.

It is worth noting that the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project provides international companies with investment opportunities in the field of aviation, as it is a free zone for private airlines and industries related to the aviation sector.

The project is located within Dubai South, which has developed it to be a center for various types of maintenance and a destination for training and education.

The project seeks to achieve the emirate's vision of making it a leading hub for the aviation sector.
