As the mayor recalled, several thousand volunteers from Moscow are already taking part in the hostilities: three battalions are completed - Donskoy, Georgievsky and Marshal Katukov.
“I made decisions on additional measures of material support for volunteers and their families.
I consider it necessary to fully extend these city support measures to those citizens who will be called up in Moscow in accordance with the Decree of the President,” he wrote in a blog.
Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced plans to call up about 300,000 reservists.
