The Egyptian artist, Mohamed Ramadan, resolved the controversy surrounding what was reported about canceling his concert in Alexandria, after pressure campaigns that demanded that he not be held in the city and the people's rejection of him, and confirmed that the company organizing the concert had already sold nearly 70% of the tickets 17 days before the concert.

the challenge

The artist, Mohamed Ramadan, sent - through a video clip on his official Facebook page - a message to the former governor of Sharkia, who supports the campaign "Alexandria does not welcome you, Mohamed Ramadan" that he will immediately go to Alexandria among the audience to know the reasons for the campaign despite the sale of tickets, without the use of a guard.

Ramadan challenged the former governor to personally come down to the "overpowered" citizens to know the reasons for their distress and sadness or care about their crises, stressing that he is on the way to the city of 6 million citizens, which was also met with a state of controversy in the comments between those who see his use of his fame to attract citizens, and those who praised with his position.

A former official supports the campaign

The video comes in response to what was written by Dr. Reda Abdel Salam, the former governor of Sharkia, who announced his support for the Hamma that was launched on social media to cancel Mohamed Ramadan's concert in Alexandria.

And the former official wrote, "Long live the Alexandrian Egypt, well, enough disgust."

The campaigns were launched after the announcement of the concert under the title “You are not welcome,” hours after announcing the organization of Mohamed Ramadan’s concert on the seventh of next October, entitled “The Strongest Party in Egypt,” by placing an (x) on the concert poster. However, Mohamed Ramadan ignored the campaign for a while and was busy with his new songs.

And Mohamed Ramadan recently celebrated the arrival of his latest song, "Dosha", to 7 million views, after it was released a week on his official YouTube channel, which topped the views on the platform for several days.

controversy and criticism

Mohamed Ramadan has often ignored the criticism that has affected him in the last period, because of his statements against the artists, as he recently sparked a crisis with the family of the late artist, Farid Shawqi, because of his criticism of the roles of the late artist and described him as providing roles with more severe bullying than those included in Ramadan films.

Which made the family of the late artist and his daughter Nahid Farid Shawqi respond, as well as his granddaughter, the artist Nahid El Sebaei, who said on her Instagram page, "Crime films in a time changed human behavior for the better and the laws of a country for the most merciful."

Also, a few days ago, a new crisis began for Ramadan after his statements that he could not play the role of a “scientist boy” as some do, and Ramadan said during an interview with the media, Najwa Ibrahim in 2016, that was recently returned to Al-Nahar channel, “A great artist presented the character of a boy scholar. I offer this role.

The artist Farouk Flux - who presented the role in the movie "The Dancer and the Politician", responded in statements to a local website, saying, "Thank you, brother, thank you that you are a young man from the new youth, who kept taking millions, and you kept attacking the old great artists, who dug the rocks and didn't take the sums." Dee, you are a good actor, but with limited roles.
