"They sharply criticized Washington's destructive foreign policy, in particular its provocative activity in the Taiwan Strait," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The ministers also expressed confidence in the strength of relations between Russia and China, as well as in the presence of broad prospects for their development.
Wang Yi also said that Russia should continue to play its important role in the UN and no one can deprive it of this right.
