Energodar authorities: Armed Forces of Ukraine are shelling the coastal zone of the city near the Zaporozhye NPP

This was reported to RT by the city administration.

The shelling is carried out from the opposite side of the Dnieper, according to preliminary data, from American M777 howitzers.

So far, 11 artillery strikes have been recorded in close proximity to the nuclear power plant.

No casualties have been reported to emergency services at this time.

Information about the destruction and damage is being specified.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at an electrical substation near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant five times a day.
