An Iraqi official reiterates his country's firm position on refusing to use its lands to attack Iran and Turkey

Qassem al-Araji, the Iraqi National Security Adviser, renewed Iraq's refusal to use its territory by the Iranian and Turkish opposition to attack Iran and Turkey.

"The Iraqi government is determined to end this file," al-Araji said during a meeting with the deputy head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's intelligence service, Haj Hassan Mohaqiq, according to a statement by the Iraqi National Security Adviser.

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening intelligence cooperation between Iraq and Iran to control borders and prevent smuggling, in addition to stressing the importance of the two countries continuing to pressure terrorist groups and continuing to pursue them and prevent them from reaching their criminal intentions.
