The moderates' Christoffer Öqvist has every reason to be satisfied with the outcome of this year's election.

His party went ahead and won another seat and now has 15 seats in the regional council.

Now the party has decided to take over the government in the region by forming part of a minority consisting of C, KD and VFP.

- We have had far-reaching and good conversations in recent days.

We have a consensus on the challenges that exist but also solutions, says Christoffer Öqvist (M).

Forced to compromise

Together, the four parties get 34 out of 79 seats in the council and will be forced to compromise with other parties to get their policies through.

- We must have good cooperation with several parties.

We have not put up any red flags in any direction and have said that we can talk to all parties, he says.

The change of power means that the Social Democrats go into opposition.

Care for the money that lost five seats in the council is still in power.
