It has been revealed that a Mexican veteran with 24 years of experience led a kidnapping organization and committed various illegal acts.

The Jalisco Prosecutor's Office announced on the 19th that it had arrested seven people, including Pablo Eriberto, on charges of involvement in several kidnappings in the city of Guadalajara, the capital of Jalisco.

They have been accused of kidnapping ordinary people for decades and demanding ransoms.

It turns out that the de facto leader of the organization was a police officer who had served in Guadalajara for 24 years.

Prosecutors believe that he secretly accessed the police's internal network to leak confidential information or aided in hiding to prevent the arrest of a member of the investigation network.

Prosecutors said that kidnappings occurred frequently in the area covered by Eriberto.

Guadalajara Mayor Pablo Remus Navarro tweeted: "This officer has been in public service for 24 years and has attacked citizens."
