“This manifests itself in the construction of military laboratories along the borders of geopolitical opponents;
collection of strains of especially dangerous microorganisms specific to certain territories;
conducting human trials of toxic drugs,” Kirillov said.
According to him, the example of Ukraine shows that the declared nature of American activities only superficially corresponds to Article X of the BTWC on international cooperation and information exchange for peaceful purposes.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the United States and Ukraine aimed to continue military biological activities near Russian borders.
According to him, this is evidenced by the destructive line of Washington and Kyiv during the meeting of the states parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons (BTWC).
