The Sweden Democrats have a so-called national list.

This means that the first 60 candidates on the list are the same in all constituencies in the country and are thus largely guaranteed a place in the Riksdag.

In the current term, Jörgen Grubb represents Östra Götaland in the Riksdag.

The coming term will be Västra Götaland.

- Some of us have ended up a bit strange.

I am expected to do something for Västra Götaland, but I am a Scanian and would rather represent my part of the country, says member of parliament Jörgen Grubb (SD).

Passed by Björn Söder

His party mate Thomas Morell, who lives in Tibro in Västra Götaland, will represent northern and eastern Scania for the next four years.

- I passed Björn Söder who comes from Kristianstad and became the first name in the constituency.

I don't know why, but maybe I got a lot of traffic tickets in Skåne, says Thomas Morell, who sits on the traffic committee.

Will you work for issues that are important in Scania?

- I will visit Skåne, but it will not be as frequent as if I lived there.

Thomas Morell says that he is "on loan" to Skåne and that the system that the Sweden Democrats have allows it to be like this.

Would have liked own district

Patrik Jönsson, Member of Parliament and formerly in Skåne, lives in Hässleholm and also represents Västra Götaland södra.

He will continue with that for another four years.

- I would have liked my own district, but now you are used to the system.

I am a Scanian in heart and soul, says Patrik Jönsson.

He tells us that fellow party member Pontus Andersson from Helsingborg will represent Jämtland in the Riksdag next term.
