Huge fright for the pilot of an ultra light motorized vehicle (ULM) on Saturday morning.
Taken off from Ligné (Loire-Atlantique), between Nort-sur-Erdre and Ancenis, the aircraft experienced difficulties approaching Clisson shortly before 10 a.m. and hit a power line with a voltage of 20,000 volts, reports the departmental service fire and rescue services (Sdis) in Loire-Atlantique.
The 75-year-old man at the controls escaped well and managed to make an emergency landing.
He was taken care of by firefighters in the town of Boussay.
He would only suffer minor injuries to his limbs.

, the septuagenarian was experienced but his ULM would have suffered an engine failure linked to the battery.
