As the minister noted, Ukrainian armed formations once again shelled the central region of Donetsk, as a result of which four civilians were killed and eight people were injured, including a journalist.

“He received a shrapnel wound, fragments of a shell got stuck in his shoulder, our doctors promptly provided him with first aid,” the department quotes her on the page on VKontakte.

According to Nikonorova, the Venezuelan journalist is currently in a hospital in Donetsk, he will have an operation to extract fragments from soft tissues. 

Earlier, the DPR announced that a Venezuelan reporter was wounded during the shelling of Donetsk.
