  • Monarchy Felipe VI and Juan Carlos I: the keys to their 'entente cordiale' to mourn Isabel II together

King

Charles III

and the crown prince,

William of Wales,

have greeted this Saturday the people who have been waiting for hours in a

queue

to access the burning chapel of

Elizabeth II

and give her a final goodbye.

Both, in suits and black ties, shook hands and chatted with the crowd gathered in central London, who were dressed in warm clothing to face the wait.

"God save the King" (Long live the king), some shouted at the successor of Elizabeth II, who died on September 8.

The British Government warned last night that the queue to enter the burning chapel of Queen Elizabeth II lasted more than eight kilometers late in the afternoon, so the wait to access it could exceed 24 hours.
