[Explanation] The Fourth Forum on the Integration and Development of Chinese Culture and Cross-Strait Cultural and Creative Industries with the theme of "Digital Rebirth of Traditional Skills" was held in Fuzhou on September 16.

Experts, scholars and practitioners in the cultural and creative industries and digital industries from both sides of the strait attended the meeting to explore how the cultural, creative and digital industries on both sides of the strait can become bigger and stronger.

  [Explanation] Lin Jiande is the deputy dean of the School of Design, Fujian Institute of Technology. Fujian Province introduced the first batch of Taiwanese experts in 2010, and he is one of them.

Lin Jiande founded many research institutes in Taiwan, and also established several departments for several universities in Fujian.

In Lin Jiande's view, both sides of the strait have the same origin and the same culture, and it is necessary to strengthen the integration of technology and traditional technology, and to demonstrate cultural confidence through excellent cultural and creative works.

In the past ten years, our group of Taiwanese professors have come over to integrate digital technology with this culture. In one piece, the fusion of technology and traditional technology, then this is the way we can generate cultural self-confidence on both sides of the strait.
