Earthquake in Taiwan - felt throughout the country

The earthquake had a depth of 7.3 kilometers with its epicenter in Taitung, which is a sparsely populated part of the country.

The quake was reportedly felt across the country and caused buildings to sway in the capital, Taipei.

The Taiwan Fire Department has received no reports and no damage or devastation.
