The
frozen corpse
found yesterday by a team of rescuers in the Peruvian province of
Urubamba belongs
to
Alberto Fedele
.

a WeWorld onlus volunteer
.
"
It is confirmed that the body found belongs to Alberto
- the president of WeWorld Marco Chiesara told ANSA -
He was recognized thanks to his backpack and clothes. He probably slipped during the excursion
".
Alberto Fedele, the 30-year-old aid worker from Pavia was missing
since July 4
during
an excursion
to the lagoon which he had decided to tackle alone, at an
altitude of 4,800 meters
, taking a mobile phone which, however, had no field in that area.
Faithful, he was in Peru as a volunteer of the WeWorld non-profit organization.
The day he disappeared, he left at 5 in the morning for an excursion in the Juchuyocha lagoon.
His return was expected around 7 pm, but nothing has been heard of him since that day.

another
body
was found in the area which later turned out to be
someone else's
