He was recognized thanks to his backpack and clothes. He probably slipped during the excursion

Alberto Fedele, the 30-year-old aid worker from Pavia was missing

since July 4

during

an excursion

to the lagoon which he had decided to tackle alone, at an

altitude of 4,800 meters

, taking a mobile phone which, however, had no field in that area. 

Faithful, he was in Peru as a volunteer of the WeWorld non-profit organization.

The day he disappeared, he left at 5 in the morning for an excursion in the Juchuyocha lagoon.

His return was expected around 7 pm, but nothing has been heard of him since that day.
