Biden warns Putin against using nuclear weapons in Ukraine

US President Joe Biden warned his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, against using chemical or tactical nuclear weapons, in the wake of the heavy losses he suffered in the war in Ukraine.

"It will change the face of war like no other since World War II," Biden said in excerpts from an interview with CBS, when asked about Putin's possible use of chemical or tactical nuclear weapons.

In response to a question about the reaction of the US administration in such a situation, Biden said: "Do you think I will tell you? .. Of course I will not tell you," but this matter will have serious repercussions.

"They (the Russians) will become more pariahs in the world than ever before," he added.
