US President Joe Biden has repeatedly warned Russian President Vladimir Putin about the consequences of using tactical nuclear or chemical weapons in connection with the invasion of Ukraine.

In an interview with CBS' '60 Minutes', which was partially released on the 17th (local time), President Biden asked, "Is there any possibility that Putin will use tactical nuclear weapons or biological and chemical weapons as Ukraine wins some battles and is at a standstill?" answered like this.

"Never, never," Biden said to Putin.

If Putin crosses the line, he has been silent on specific measures to take.

"I won't tell you what's going to happen," Biden said.

The West, including the United States, is accelerating further aid after Ukraine successfully counterattacked in some Russian-occupied territories.

On the 15th, President Biden ordered additional military aid to Ukraine worth $600 million (837 billion won).

Germany also provided additional rocket systems and rockets to Ukraine on the same day.

Since the beginning of the Ukrainian War, the United States has been warning of the possibility of Russia's tactical nuclear weapons or biological and chemical weapons based on classified information.

Meanwhile, President Biden shook his head about the recent rail strike that led to a dramatic compromise, calling it a "good decision for both labor and management" and "I don't want to think of the opposite."

"If there had been a real strike, the supply chains across the country would have come to a standstill," he added. "We could have witnessed a real economic crisis."
