<Reporter> Lee Jun-

seok, former representative of People's Power, appeared at the police yesterday morning in connection with the investigation into 'sexual entertainment'.

Ex-CEO Lee, who was investigated for 12 hours until 10 p.m., escaped by car from the underground parking lot of the office building, avoiding the reporters who were waiting.

Afterwards, former CEO Lee said on his SNS, "As coordinated with the police, I attended from the morning and responded to the investigation of the accusations."

Previously, former CEO Lee was accused of receiving various types of entertainment, including sexual favors, from IKAIST CEO Kim Seong-jin from 2013 to 2015.

He is also suspected of having written a memorandum of investment of 700 million won to the informant of the allegation through his close aide Kim Cheol-geun, former head of the political affairs office of the party, and instructing him to destroy the evidence.

In the midst of this, the People's Power Central Ethics Committee held an emergency meeting this afternoon to discuss whether to further disciplinary action against former CEO Lee.

An official from the Ethics Committee explained to SBS, "We will take a comprehensive look at Lee's remarks, which denied the decision-making of the National Committee, as such acts that harmed party democracy."
