The Sharjah Education Council stated that the work of government nurseries will begin to expand to include the kindergarten stage, in 12 existing nurseries, and six nurseries under construction in the emirate, based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, regarding expansion. The council explained to "Emirates Today" that a study is currently being conducted on the nature of the curricula and the number of classes and fees for the kindergarten stage, which will be applied to those enrolled, as the council is studying the application of the best curricula in it, stressing that it will be subject to full supervision on its part, with regard to the educational system and equipment.

The number of reserved seats reached 510, distributed over three regions, namely, the city of Sharjah and the central and eastern regions, while the Council gave priority to reserving the seat for children of Sharjah government employees in the first stage, and then for non-Sharjah government workers, pointing out that it is in line with its policies in facilitating the registration service. And due to the great demand for it, it made it possible to update the membership due to the inability of some of them to complete the process of entering the required data.

The guide for government nurseries in Sharjah sets the age of admission to government nurseries to start from three months until the age of admission in the kindergarten stage, while it sets five conditions for registration in government nurseries, including that the mother is a worker, that one of the parents is a citizen of the UAE, and apply for registration On the dates specified for this by the Sharjah Education Council, with the obligation to pay the fees on the specified dates, and the nursery receives children from the age of three months until the age of admission to the kindergarten.

The council explained that the plan to register nurseries begins early, as the registration period passes in two stages, the first is the registration of membership for all employers, then the registration door is opened for Sharjah government employees, and it will be in three stages, according to the cities of the Emirate of Sharjah, while the second stage witnesses the opening of all remaining vacancies For employees of all employers.

The Council indicated that five periods of time have been set for the care and education of children: the first semester (September, October, November), the winter semester (December), the second semester (January, February, March), and the third semester (April, May). June), and summer (July, August).

Approved fees

The Sharjah Education Council has set the approved fees for the compulsory semesters, the first semester (September, October, November) at 2,400 dirhams, to be paid in the first week of September, and the second semester (January, February, March) with a fee of 2,400 dirhams, to be paid per week The first of January, and the third semester (April, May, June) at 2,400 dirhams to be paid in the first week of April.

He also specified the fees for optional semesters, which are: the winter semester (December) at 1000 dirhams, to be paid in the last week of November, and the summer semester (July, August) at 1000 dirhams per month, to be paid in the last week of June and July.
