Invited this morning to the microphone of Europe 1, Louis Gallois, former president of the SNCF and current president of the Orientation Council of PNC-France, returned to the potential lack of electricity this winter.

For the co-president of the Fabrique de l'industrie, "we will not have a major crisis this winter", but the creation of new controllable power stations, operating on gas, must arise.

Will the perfect storm continue in Europe?

After the constant decline in deliveries of Russian gas, the shutdown of a large part of the French nuclear fleet, the drought affecting Europe amputating the production of hydroelectricity, the arrival of winter makes us fear the worst.

The French network operator RTE presented its roadmap for the coming months and foresees a difficult but manageable situation in the event of a mild winter.

But the operator fears a cold and windless winter.
