About fifty firefighters were mobilized to evacuate the rainwater where it had accumulated and come to the aid of the inhabitants.
In total, the passage of the storm led to 46 interventions, still reports the daily.
Orange alert lifted for Drôme
In particular, they spent part of the night managing the floods that occurred in homes or cellars in Montélimar, Pierrelatte and Donzère.
Firefighters also rescued several residents trapped on suddenly flooded roads.
