The Director of the Traffic Awareness and Information Branch at Sharjah Police, Captain Saud Al Shaiba, said that the field awareness aims to educate drivers of light and heavy vehicles about the importance of the safety means required for vehicles in general, and the safety of tires in particular through the standards and measures that must be available in tires, and to reduce all causes that lead to The occurrence of summer traffic accidents, in order to preserve lives and public property.

He pointed out the need to avoid the causes that increase the risk of accidents due to tire explosions, and to follow the correct instructions to ensure their safety, including the date of manufacture and validity period, and periodically checking them, and checking the condition of new tires before purchasing, in addition to ensuring the suitability of the tire used, its size and the temperature it withstands. and appropriate load.

Captain Al-Shaiba confirmed that this field awareness included multiple inspection aspects aimed at examining mainly vehicle tires and the rest of the vehicle’s parts to ensure their validity and safety.
