The Emir of Qatar receives Sisi in Doha

The Egyptian presidency announced the arrival of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at Hamad International Airport in the Qatari capital, Doha, today, Tuesday, where he was received by Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

In a previous statement, the Egyptian presidency announced that "Sisi will go to Doha on an official visit for two days, which is the first of its kind to the State of Qatar, in response to the invitation addressed to him by his brother, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani."

The official spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency, Ambassador Bassam Rady, stated that "the visit comes as a culmination of the intensive mutual discussions during the recent period between the two brotherly countries, with the aim of strengthening the frameworks of joint bilateral cooperation at all levels."

During the visit, Sisi will discuss with the Emir of Qatar the most important axes of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, as well as consultation and coordination on various regional and international issues of common interest during the current stage, which require concerted efforts to protect Arab national security, according to a statement by the Egyptian presidency.
