Only on Thursday is the result of the parliamentary election expected to be completely clear.

Only then can real negotiations about what the next government should look like begin.

On Monday, M leader Ulf Kristersson was visited by Jimmie Åkesson (SD), Ebba Busch (KD) and Johan Pehrson (L) at his party office.

None of the parties wanted to go any further than stating that "conversations" had been held, something that many interpreted as meaning that they had, after all, begun to outline how the next government should be formed.

Denies L-nobb

The Sweden Democrats have said that their goal is to take a seat in a new government.

Both Ebba Busch and Ulf Kristersson have emphasized during the election campaign that they want to govern together, with SD as a partner.

However, Kristersson has not wanted to give a clear message about whether the Liberals will be allowed to participate.

Joar Forssell, the Liberals' foreign policy spokesperson, told SvD on Tuesday that he assumes that the Liberals will get ministerial positions if Ulf Kristersson forms a government.

On Monday, DN published source information that M prefers to keep L out, something that was shortly afterwards denied by the Moderates.

Information about Bildt's return

Several sources with transparency tell Aftonbladet that M and KD have already started dividing the ministerial posts between them.

However, the information is refuted by Niklas Gillström, press manager at the Moderates.

According to the information provided to the newspaper, Gunnar Strömmer, Moderatera's party secretary, may be given the role of Minister of Justice, and the legal policy spokesperson Johan Forssell may take his place as Minister of the Interior.

According to the sources, Elisabeth Svantesson (M), spokesperson for economic policy, may be appointed finance minister.

Who is expected to become foreign minister is said to be up in the air, but former state and foreign minister Carl Bildt's name is said to have been mentioned in the discussions.

- I have no comment on anything before we have an election result, says Carl Bildt to Aftonbladet.

SVT Nyheter has applied for Carl Bildt and Johan Forssell.
