“At the CSTO summit, Belarus proposed taking prompt steps to resolve the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” the Telegram message says.

In particular, at the meeting it was proposed to send the CSTO Secretary General to the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as to create a working group to analyze the situation.

Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that the CSTO would hold a meeting on the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

On the night of September 13, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported that the Azerbaijani military was shelling the country's territory with artillery and using drones.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry also noted clashes on the border with Armenia.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, in turn, accused the Armenian side of "large-scale sabotage in the Dashkesan, Kalbajar and Lachin directions", which resulted in "losses among personnel and damage to military infrastructure."
