On paper, this place where solar panels are installed is a mushroom cultivation facility.

I brought in useless wood, but there is no sign of growing mushrooms.

The Corruption Prevention Promotion Team directly under the Prime Minister's Office has checked the power industry infrastructure fund that the Moon Jae-in government has invested in revitalizing new and renewable energy.

The Electric Power Industry Infrastructure Fund is a public interest fund created by accumulating 3.7% of electricity bills, and 12 trillion won has been invested over the past five years.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, only 12 out of 226 local governments were first investigated, and it was found that about 2,200 cases and 260 billion won were unfairly executed.

This is 12% of the project cost.

Problems such as illegal loans and contracts with unregistered companies were revealed one after another, and insolvency was confirmed in one out of six solar power projects.

The Prime Minister's Office explained that it believes that a large-scale case of insolvent execution has been confirmed in the process of preparing at the terminal stage as it strongly drives the new and renewable policy.

In addition, he added that the government will recover subsidies that have been unfairly paid and expand the investigation nationwide.
