They see themselves as winners in the municipal elections in Ånge

- We were almost completely shocked when the Social Democrats lost three mandates and it fell on the bourgeois side, says Stig Malmberg (SD).

He believes it is partly due to dissatisfaction with the expansion of wind power and the issue of high electricity prices. 

Our Future's political committee, which also increases with a mandate, sees an opportunity for change in the municipality.

- I generally think that it is not good to sit in one's own majority for too long, then it becomes slack, says Linda Mattson in Vår Framtid, who is currently an opposition councilor in Ånge.
