“The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office is checking compliance with the requirements of federal legislation on minors, during which an assessment will be made of the completeness and timeliness of the actions of the prevention system, as well as the actions of parents in the performance of their duties,” the statement says.
According to the prosecutor's office, the child's mother was previously on the appropriate preventive records.
“Another child is being brought up in the family - a boy born in 2010, the mother of the children was previously registered with the appropriate preventive records,” the department said.
Earlier it was reported that in Moscow a man threatened to throw a child off a balcony.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident.
