Everything now points to a shift in power in Östhammar's municipality, where the Center Party and the Social Democrats have been in power for 12 years.

But exactly who will be included in the new majority has not yet been decided.

- Of course I want to see as bourgeois a majority as possible, but exactly who it will be I will leave unsaid right now, says Fabian Sjöberg.

"Need to lick our wounds"

The Center and the Social Democrats together lose four seats in the council.

- I see it as part of the larger trend also nationally, more so I don't want to comment on it, but now we need to lick our wounds, says Jacob Spangenberg (C), who has been chairman of the municipal board since 2006.
