International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Secretary-General Rafael Grosi reported to the Board of Directors on the 12th (local time) that "After the report in August of last year, the 5MW nuclear reactor in North Korea's Yongbyon nuclear facility has been operating and the centrifugation and enrichment facility is still in operation."
"There were also signs that the floor area of the building containing the nuclear facility had expanded by about a third," he said.
Secretary-General Grosi noted that he had seen signs of restoration in Tunnel 3 at the Punggye-ri nuclear test site and that he had recently witnessed new work being carried out on the road leading to Tunnel 4 as well.
