In detail, a man submitted a report to the competent authorities, stating that the maid ran away from his home and stole 1,200 dirhams from his daughter’s bag, but the competent authorities accused him of using a maid without his sponsorship, as the accused denied what was attributed to him, and stated that the maid did not work for him, but came to the state accompanied by his daughter.

In the memorandum of defense of the accused, the lawyer, Hanan Al-Bayed, demanded that the verdict against her client be rescinded, and that he be acquitted, based on the fact that the maid did not work for him, and that he submitted a report of theft and not of her fleeing from his home, and based on the unreasonableness of the incident, and the absence of the crime referred to the accused, as the The travel ticket that the maid brought to the state was for the two trips to come and return, and it is confirmed that she is under the sponsorship of his daughter’s husband.

The court confirmed in the ruling’s merits that the evidence from the papers is that the man appealed the judgment in absentia against him that fined him 50 thousand dirhams for employing a maid without his sponsorship, and submitted to the court documents indicating that she works for his daughter and she is on the sponsorship of her husband in their homeland outside the country.

She added that it is established that there is a travel ticket for the maid to return to her employer's home, and according to the report of the regulations of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, the maid is in the country for a period of 15 days, and accordingly, she has abstained from the accused opposing the accusation against him, using the maid to work for him, and she is not on his guarantee, The court must acquit him of it, pursuant to Article 211 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Accordingly, the court accepts the opposition in form, and in the matter, cancels the opposing judgment, and acquits him of the accusation against him.
