“AFU fighters, numbering up to two companies, tank and motorized rifle, advanced from Pervomaisky to the Pesok area,” the statement says.
It is noted that the fighters of the Somalia unit and the 11th regiment of the People's Militia of the DPR provided a fierce rebuff to the Ukrainian military.
“An attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to counterattack in the Donetsk direction was suppressed,” the message added.
It is specified that the Ukrainian military fled, leaving two wrecked tanks and two infantry fighting vehicles on the battlefield, as well as the bodies of the dead.
Earlier, the headquarters of the DPR said that one person was injured in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk due to the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
