Traveling on the African continent since Thursday, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, ended his visit this Sunday.
Visit dominated by security issues.
The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy visited Mozambique, which faces repeated terrorist attacks, Kenya, which acts as a pillar in the region, as well as Somalia .

Josep Borrell concluded his visit to Somalia on Sunday.
He met President Hassan Cheikh Mohamoud there.
They discussed, among other things, the drought in the country and the support that the European Union can provide.
The day before, Saturday, the head of European diplomacy was in Kenya where he met William Ruto, whose presidential victory has
just been confirmed by the Supreme Court
.
The two discussed the situation in Ethiopia, Somalia and eastern DRC.
And the role that Nairobi can play.
Kenya is seen by the EU as a “
model of stability
” in the region.
Outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta had been involved in several issues, including the conflict in northern Ethiopia and the return of peace to eastern DRC.
This role of mediator "
must continue
", the EU said in a press release.
Josep Borrell's tour began in Mozambique on Thursday, where he announced military aid of 15 million euros to support the country
in its fight against terrorism
.
In particular in the province of Cabo Delgado, in the north, regularly marked by jihadist attacks.
These funds are in addition to the 89 million already planned to support the Mozambican army.
