A teenager imprisoned for hitting another with a dumbbell near Rennes

Pending his judgment in the children's court at the end of September, he was placed in pre-trial detention on Saturday.

A 16-year-old boy is suspected of having violently hit another young man using dumbbells, reports the

The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was found injured and lifeless on Monday by passers-by at L'Hermitage near Rennes.

The track of the accident had quickly been abandoned, after the doctors found that the young man, transported to hospital in Rennes in absolute emergency, had the cranium depressed.
