Private schools in the northern emirates have developed three solutions to reduce the traffic congestion experienced by students during the morning period with the beginning of the school day, and after its end, due to the entry and exit of all students from different educational levels to and from schools at the same time, especially since some schools are close Some of them, which leads to the accumulation of vehicles on roads adjacent to private schools, and the closure of some of them as a result of the behavior of drivers who do not adhere to the traffic law.

Last week, private schools held remote meetings with students' families, to listen to their observations and suggestions regarding traffic congestion, and the arrival of their children to homes late after school hours. At varying intervals after the end of school hours, and secondly, that the time interval between the exit of school bus students and private transport students is 15 minutes, and third that students of each school stage exit through a separate gate, and not with each other.

Private schools indicated that they met with the students’ families via remote electronic programs last week, as a result of repeating their observations since the beginning of the school year, related to the presence of a traffic crisis during the morning and evening periods, and the delay in the students’ arrival to their homes, and it continued that it studied all the suggestions and observations, and developed appropriate solutions For students and their families.

She added that the issue of the entry and exit of students to and from schools has been arranged, which will witness a significant decrease in traffic congestion, provided that the students’ families abide by the traffic law, and that they stand in the designated parking spots in front of the schools, noting that the students of the school stages will exit with a time difference between each stage of study. , in order to give their families enough opportunity to pick them up, and move their vehicles outside the school district before students leave the other stages, to reduce congestion on the roads adjacent to the schools.

She added that she had developed a plan for the students participating in school buses to leave 15 minutes before others, and to organize the exit of buses from the gates designated for them, to reduce the gathering of buses and vehicles of students' families on roads and traffic intersections near schools, and the occurrence of traffic jams, and students from the first to the fourth will also exit. From a separate gate, and students from the fifth to eighth from another gate, and students from the ninth to the twelfth from a gate designated for that, so that no student from any academic stage is allowed to exit except from the gate designated for him, and students’ families will not be allowed to receive their children from other gates .

She explained that some students’ families prefer to receive their children from one gate, even though they are in different stages of study, and this may lead to random crowding in front of the gates, and accordingly schools closed the sections between the educational stages inside the buildings with temporary gates, and not allow any student after the end of school hours. By moving to any other department, in order to organize the student exit process.

She pointed out that some of the behavior of drivers with students is a major cause of traffic jams, as a result of their random parking in front of the gates, their stopping in the middle of the road to receive their children, and their reservation of more than one parking while waiting for their children, which hinders the rest of the vehicles stopping in the designated parking spots in front of schools, in addition to the fact that Some stop their vehicles crosswise in front of the parked vehicles in their proper lane, which leads to preventing them from exiting in time.

She added that all these behaviors lead to suffocating traffic, accumulating vehicles in front of school entrances, and delaying students' arrival to their homes in time.
