Two days ago, the Green Party's spokesperson Per Bolund sent out an email to the party's members, activists and sympathizers in which he stated that the situation between the government alternatives is extremely even and that the party cannot afford to relax:

"We know that the MP is usually overestimated in opinion polls. It is the result on election day that decides."

And on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m., another email arrived.

There, Bolund talks about the shock he got when he saw SVT/Novu's latest survey, which gives the party 4.5 percent with a margin of error of 0.7 percentage points.

"If you take into account the margin of error, it is not certain that MP is above the barrier. If you take into account that we are usually overestimated in the measurements, it is a very scary figure", he writes and appeals for the members' help.

"I really want to ask you - if you can, send us a gift NOW, and we will increase advertising in the last hours as much as possible."

A source with insight says that the emails have gone out to thousands of people.

The decision to send out the appeal for help is said to have been made by the party's election management.

- We are very worried about the result on Sunday, there is a real risk that we would miss the barrier, says the source.
