When Rasmus Paludan, party leader for the far-right Stram Kurs, held an election meeting in Luleå on August 24, the mood was upset when the politician, among other things, burned the Koran in front of protesters.

According to SVT's reporter who was there, stones were also thrown when Paludan was taken away by the police.

On Saturday, the politician plans to give speeches in Piteå and Luleå.

This time he has received permission - which was not the case last time.

- The reason he got permission this time was because he applied in such good time that we had time to process it.

On his previous visit, he applied for permission the day before the intended day of the general assembly, says Pontus Fälldin, commanding officer at the police.
