- With Buckingham Palace announcing the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the following report outlines the procedures and protocol for the event.

All members of the royal family will also receive an official letter announcing the Queen's death, a letter that members of the royal family will announce to the general British people.

After that, all ministers and senior officials will be informed of the news of the Queen’s death, so that the flags will be lowered in half, in all government headquarters in the heart of the capital, London, provided that the process of flags at half-mast takes place in a period not exceeding 10 minutes in all ministerial and government headquarters, and work will be suspended in British Parliament as well as in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Perhaps the most important and sensitive event of this day is the meeting between the new king and the prime minister, before King Charles addresses the nation as the new king of the country.

the second day

The day after the Queen's death, the Coronation Council, attended by senior government officials, will be held at King James' Palace in London, in order to proclaim Charles the new King of the country.

The announcement of the coronation of Queen Charles will be read at the "King James" Palace as well as in the City of London, confirming Charles is the new king of the country.

Parliament will convene to announce the Queen's obituary, and all of its work will be suspended for 10 days, and immediately after that the new king will hold a hearing with the Prime Minister and her government.

It is the day the Queen’s body was transferred to Buckingham Palace in London, and given the Queen’s presence in Balmoral Palace in Scotland, the (UNICORN) plan will be activated, which means that the Queen’s body will be transported via the royal train to London, specifically to St Pancras station, The Prime Minister will receive her, or the body will be flown directly to Buckingham Palace, a process called "OVERSTUDY".

the fourth day

King Charles will receive condolences on the death of the Queen in Parliament Square in London, after which he will travel on a tour of the regions of the United Kingdom, starting with Scotland and then Wales.

The fifth day

King Charles will continue his tour to Northern Ireland, where he will receive condolences at Hillsboro Palace before proceeding to St Anne's Church in Belfast.

On the same day, there will be security and preparatory operations for the transfer of the Queen's body from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Palace, a process for which the name Operation "The Lion" is attached.

The day the Queen's body was moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Palace.

the seventh day

The Queen's body will remain in the Palace of Westminster for 3 days, where a number of people will be able to take a last look at the Queen and it will be open for 23 hours a day.

At the same time, preparations will be made for the state funeral, when the Queen will be transported to her final resting place.

the seventh day

King Charles will travel to Wales to receive condolences on the Queen's death in the Welsh Parliament and then proceed to Cardiff Cathedral.

The eighth and ninth day

Continuing preparations for the state funeral to transfer the Queen to her final resting place, preparations that will require tremendous efforts from the government in view of the number of guests that will come from different parts of the world, in addition to the presence of the British, and the Prime Minister is expected to announce a day of national mourning that will be a holiday as well.

The Queen's official and final funeral will be held at Westminster Abbey, opposite Parliament House, and two minutes of silence will be announced across the country, after which there will be a coronation for King Charles at Windsor Castle, which will be the official residence of the new king.

As for the Queen's body, it will be buried in the "Memorial" chapel of King George VI's palace.
