A week after the death of a young man, stabbed in a Nantes park, a 17-year-old teenager was indicted on Wednesday for intentional homicide, reports the public prosecutor of Nantes, Renaud Gaudeul.

Arrested Monday in a Nantes home, this minor is suspected of being the author of the fatal stab wound.

The victim is a 19-year-old young man from Cholet.

On Sunday August 28, around 6 p.m., he was stabbed in the lower abdomen in the Parc de la Mulotière, Barberie district.

He died two days later at the Nantes University Hospital.

According to the first elements of the investigation, an argument broke out between the two men shortly before the tragedy.

The suspect carried a knife on him since a previous assault suffered, according to the explanations given to the investigators.
