Local sources in Yafa' al-Had district, Lahj governorate, southern Yemen, reported that there is joint coordination between the Houthi militia and terrorist groups in the region, to open a new front of confrontations with the southern forces and the joint forces in the region, after they failed to achieve their goals in Abyan and Shabwa.

The sources stated that terrorist and Houthi movements witnessed in the areas between the governorates of Al-Bayda and Lahj, during the past few hours, with the aim of dragging the area into confrontations and combat operations that serve the terrorist groups that united in the face of government forces, noting that the area witnessed a sniping operation for the commander of the Fourth Brigade, the support and support of the brigadier general. Hadar al-Shouti, which led to his death, was buried today in the temporary capital, Aden.

According to the sources, the sniping operation prompted the joint forces to secure several areas in the border areas between the two governorates and purify them of terrorist elements.

In Abyan, local sources stated that the Ahwar area is the main center for terrorist elements that united during the recent period with the Houthi militia, as it was cleared yesterday in a qualitative operation of the Security Belt forces backed by the southern forces, which entered the closed area on terrorism for the first time since the re-purification of Shabwa and Abyan from terrorists.

A source in the southern forces stated that the operation, which took place in Ahwar, and led to the killing of six terrorist elements and the capture of others and the death of more than 23 soldiers, comes within the framework of the operation to secure Abyan from terrorism and the Houthis, which was launched last month, when terrorist organizations and the Houthi and Brotherhood groups turned Abyan into A den to carry out their terrorist plans.

 In Dhamar, the Houthi militia killed the Houthi leader, Qais Naji Al-Bakhiti, nicknamed "Abu Shehab", appointed director of security for the Doran Anas district, along with a number of his companions, according to local sources, confirming that Al-Bakhiti was killed by a Houthi leader named Omar Al-Asadi.
