The Saudi child, Turki Bajunid, was widely celebrated and praised on social media platforms in Saudi Arabia.

The child published on his Twitter account scenes of his coronation and carrying the Saudi flag, and he explained - in media statements with him - that the competition is to solve 160 issues in 10 minutes, pointing out that encouraging people was an important factor in motivating him to win.
A thousand contestants from 19 countries participated in the World Mental Arithmetic Championship that was held in Cairo.
Bajnaid commented on the winning moments, saying, "I was excited for the first place to raise the head of my mother, the country and my family."

Winning the World Mental Arithmetic Championship is not the first victory for Turki Bagnid, as he had previously achieved second place in the Al-Khwarizmi Junior competition in March of this year in the UAE.
