The People's Power held a national committee meeting on the morning of the 8th to decide on the 'Agenda for Appointment of Non-Chairman Jeong Jin-seok'.

The National Committee plans to hold a meeting non-face-to-face and vote on the ARS vote to vote on the appointment of Jeong Jin-seok, the Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, as the new non-chairman.

In place of Rep. Seo Byung-soo, who resigned as chairman of the national committee in opposition to the promotion of the 'new non-captain,' Rep. Yoon Doo-hyeon, vice-chairman of the national committee, will act as the chairperson and preside over the meeting.

The election of the non-commissioned chairperson of the National Committee is decided when a majority of the final number participates and a majority approves.

Currently, the total number of national committee members is 731, and the quorum for decision-making is 366.

If the appointment agenda is approved, a new subcommittee will be appointed 13 days after the court's decision to suspend former vice chairperson Joo Ho-young on the 26th of last month.

The appointment of non-members is expected to be completed after the Chuseok holiday.

Regarding the appointment of the non-commissioned members, Vice Chairman Jeong said at a press conference yesterday, "I'll think about it. We should launch the non-commissioned members tomorrow afternoon."
