Younis Al-Tayeh, 21, was martyred this morning, Wednesday, by the Israeli occupation forces’ bullets, during a storming of the Fara’a refugee camp, Tubas district, in the northern West Bank. They also arrested more than 20 Palestinians from several areas.

According to the Ministry of Health, the young man was hit by a direct bullet in the heart and died during his transportation to the hospital, despite the medical teams' attempts to save him.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency correspondent that an Israeli force stormed Al-Fara'a camp in the Tubas governorate and the northern Jordan Valley (north), which led to clashes with dozens of Palestinians.

Witnesses indicated that the occupation army used live and metal bullets and tear gas canisters against the Palestinians.

On the other hand, the Israeli army said in a statement that its forces had activated in the Fara’a camp, south of the city of Tubas, near the Jordan Valley, and arrested a wanted Palestinian.

He added, "During the operation, an improvised explosive device was thrown and our forces were shot... which responded with fire," stressing that "there are no casualties in the ranks of the Israeli army" and that he was informed that "a Palestinian was killed."

On the other hand, the Palestinian Prisoners Club reported that the occupation forces arrested about 25 Palestinians from Tubas, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Jenin, Nablus (north), Hebron (south), Ramallah (central), and the outskirts of Jerusalem. in some areas.

The Israeli army invades the West Bank on an almost daily basis, claiming to arrest wanted persons, which leads to the outbreak of confrontations with the residents.

Army chief Aviv Kohavi said Monday that about 1,500 Palestinians have been arrested and hundreds of attacks thwarted over the past weeks.
