She said that the Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue aims to create a global platform whose mission is to set exemplary policies at the level of countries, and to cooperate in the use of outer space, for the benefit of peoples and with the aim of developing public and private programs and initiatives in this framework, in a way that enhances the leading role of the United Arab Emirates in supporting the space sector at the level It affirms its commitment to international treaties at the time of geopolitical and geoeconomic blocs, as our country is a forerunner in its active participation in international organizations and forums concerned with outer space. In commitment to implementing the principles governing the space field, Al-Amiri affirmed the state’s continuous follow-up to this file by launching its National Space Strategy 2030, which aims to support the realization of the state’s vision in the field of space industry with its various sciences, technologies, applications and services, as well as issuing the necessary legislation and policies to advance the space sector to the highest levels. , in line with international standards and contributes to consolidating national efforts to achieve the United Nations Guidelines for Space Sustainability, especially after the country’s membership in the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and its keenness to participate effectively in all the work of the Committee, including discussions related to the agreement Guidelines on the long-term sustainability of outer space activities.
