According to the

Washington Post

, "

A document describing a foreign government's military defenses - including its nuclear weapons - has been found by FBI agents

 ."

The newspaper's sources did not give the name of the country.

The

Washington Post

recalls that when it was revealed that during the search, the FBI was specifically looking for this type of document, Donald Trump spoke of a "hoax".

The documents found

, the newspaper points out, are so classified that only the president and government or government-level officials have access to them.

They are normally kept under lock and key, with a screening officer always aware of their whereabouts, while at Mar-a-Lago security was "uncertain", according to the

Washington Post

.

A victory for the Trump camp

One of the former president's lawyers reacted by criticizing leaks “

that continue, without respect for the normal process or the truth.

It does not serve the interests of justice

 .”

This revelation comes the day after a victory for the Trump camp: a judge authorized an independent expert to review the documents seized, and determine which ones the former president can keep as "confidential".

The Justice Department opposed it, saying it could block investigators' access to the documents, "

and would seriously harm government interests, including national security

 ."
